A huge congratulations to our Customer Service & Key Account Director, Nikki Osborne, who recently completed an incredible fundraising challenge in support of St Rocco’s Hospice in Warrington. 👏
Alongside 18 others, Nikki set off from Blackpool Tower at 9:30am, carrying a bed for the entire journey back to Warrington. After walking through the night, the team covered an astonishing 51 miles in less than 25 hours, with 12 of the 19 participants completing the full distance.
The challenge was organised to raise funds for St Rocco’s Hospice, which provides outstanding end-of-life care and relies on £5.2 million each year to continue its vital work. Funds raised will also help purchase mobile defibrillators for six community rugby clubs, including Warrington Girls Community Rugby League Club.
Joined by members of community rugby clubs from across Warrington, everyone worked together to support this fantastic cause, raising an incredible amount of money for charity.
Reflecting on the experience, Nikki described it as the toughest challenge she has ever undertaken, both physically and mentally.
